The NOW Theatre, Inc. of Paterson, NJ
is a 501(c)(3) organization.
The NOW Theatre was established in 1983 as a
touring community theatre company that
presented professional plays and heightened the
cultural awareness of the local residents.
During its 41 years of operation, N.T.C. has produced
and performed more than 300 plays and countless
workshops that involved an average of 400 youth
annually in Passaic County.
The impact of participation by youth in the theatrical
program has afforded each an opportunity to challenge
and improve their mathematical abilities, reading
comprehension and workplace readiness skills.
In addition, the youth gained self-esteem and acquired
a sense of accomplishment which has led to their
involvement in other community activities.
